Rating: PG-13 Director: Rob Reiner This movie is definitely a tear jerker. Everyone in my family has always talked about how much they’ve enjoyed this movie whenever they watch it and I’ve never brought myself around to see it. However when I found out Rob Reiner was the director of the movie, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to see it for the first time. I knew it was going to be sad considering it’s called the bucket list (and also the fact that everyone in my family told me I would cry) but I had no idea that I would laugh as well. Any movie that Morgan Freeman is in, I’ve enjoyed. I don’t think he’s starred in a bad movie and I personally love him as an actor. He always does a great job and adds so much personality and fun to every character he portrays. I don’t believe I have ever seen any movies that Jack Nicholson has starred in besides this one but from what I saw, he was pretty good. I felt like Morgan Freeman and him worked great together and made the story come alive. It’s not an action or thriller movie by any means but it’s certainly one that everyone should see before they die. I think it definitely gives perspective on life and how you live it. I was laughing during this movie for the most part but once the end hit, I was very sad. I think the movie has the absolute perfect ending but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t sad. I think this movie had me question a lot about what could happen and I didn’t know how it was going to end after a while. Multiple times I thought I knew what would happen and then something else completely different happened. Yes this movie is sad but really not up until the very end. It is very funny and helps you look back on your own life and how you’ve lived it or even acted around those you love. I genuinely enjoyed this movie a lot and the fact that it had me in tears for laughing and crying means that it did a perfect job of exceeding my expectations and helped me enjoy it to the fullest Trailer: youtu.be/vc3mkG21ob4
