Rating: PG-13 Director: Anthony and Joe Russo I'm kind of upset that I finished the Marvel phases 1-3 by finishing Endgame. Everything I have been waiting for in the Marvel Universe is basically *boom* over. I’m really glad Abigail forced me to start the Marvel movies and told me to watch them in timeline order because otherwise I would have been more confused. I have been watching these movies for a little under a year. I started in June last year and watched them with my dad and sister before she returned to Auburn for vet school. When she went back to school my dad and I stopped watching them until January when I knew I needed to get to Endgame, so I was very forceful about it. I could have watched them myself, but it was cool to have something like this to do with my dad. Endgame was a great ending to phases 1-3 and I am very pleased, besides Iron Man dying, but I understand why and it makes the perfect finish for those characters. I don’t know why I’m reluctant to continue watching the movies such as Shang-Chi despite the raving reviews I’ve heard about it. Usually movies that are 3 hours feel like forever and aren’t enjoyable, but this movie was the opposite for me. I never wanted it to end and it was the perfect time for that movie because personally I felt satisfied after it ended. I knew about what happened in the last hour of the movie before starting the Marvel movies because it was on TV one day and my mom wanted to watch it. I’m glad that I saw the ending beforehand because I was able to prepare myself for the disappointing death. I didn’t feel like it was ruined for me because I didn’t even understand what was going on when at first watching it, so it was ok that I saw it because I needed to see the backstories and who everybody was. There is so many things in this movie that was perfect and satisfying. When Captain America was able to grab Thor’s hammer, it was AMAZING. I think my jaw dropped when that happened because of how perfect it was to see on screen. I also teared up a little when everybody came back from being dust and they all huddled together to defeat Thanos. This film had great content but was also beautifully made. The colors in it and all the different shots and scenes were fantastic. This definitely is in my top 5 favorite movies because of how it is enjoyable for the entire 3 hours, which doesn’t happen very often. I thought it was cool how Captain America was able to get his dance with Peggy, but honestly every storyline and character had a satisfying ending. I have nothing but positive comments to make about this movie and could watch it many more times, it was wonderful and pleasing. Trailer: youtu.be/TcMBFSGVi1c
